Medigap Plan A

Plan A is the most basic plan, which covers the following:

  • Part A coinsurance and hospital costs
  • Part B coinsurance or copayments
  • The first three pints of blood required for a hospital procedure
  • Part A hospice care coinsurance or copayments

Medigap Plan B

Plan B is similar to Plan A and covers:

  • Part A coinsurance and hospital costs
  • Part B coinsurance or copayments
  • The first three pints of blood required for a hospital procedure
  • Part A hospice care coinsurance or copayments
  • Part A deductible

Medigap Plan C

Those eligible for Medicare after January 1, 2020, will no longer be able to purchase this plan. If you were eligible before January 1, 2020, give us a call to discuss your options.

Medigap Plan D

Plan D covers most benefits, including:

  • Part A coinsurance and hospital costs
  • Part B coinsurance or copayments
  • The first three pints of blood required for a hospital procedure
  • Part A hospice care coinsurance or copayments
  • Skilled nursing facility care coinsurance
  • 80% of emergency care during foreign travel

Medigap Plan F

Those eligible for Medicare after January 1, 2020, will no longer be able to purchase this plan. If you were eligible before January 1, 2020, give us a call to discuss your options.

Medigap Plan G

Plan G covers everything, except for Part B deductible. See the breakdown below:

  • Part A coinsurance and hospital costs
  • Part B coinsurance or copayments
  • The first three pints of blood required for a hospital procedure
  • Part A hospice care coinsurance or copayments
  • Skilled nursing facility care coinsurance
  • Part B excess charges
  • 80% of emergency care during foreign travel

Medigap Plan L

Plan L is not offered by all carriers because it is not often requested. It covers:

  • Part A coinsurance and hospital costs
  • 75% of Part B coinsurance or copayments
  • 75% of the first three pints of blood required for a hospital procedure
  • 75% of Part A hospice care coinsurance or copayments
  • 75% of Skilled nursing facility care coinsurance
  • 75% of Part A deductible
  • $2,940 annual out-of-pocket limit

Medigap Plan M

Plan M is not offered by all carriers because it is not often requested. It covers:

  • Part A coinsurance and hospital costs
  • Part B coinsurance or copayments
  • The first three pints of blood required for a hospital procedure
  • Part A hospice care coinsurance or copayments
  • Skilled nursing facility care coinsurance
  • 50% of Part A deductible
  • 80% of emergency care during foreign travel

Medigap Plan N

Plan N is a low premium plan, offering coverage for most benefits in addition to copays for certain visits like the emergency room or doctor's office. 

  • Part A coinsurance and hospital costs
  • Part B coinsurance or copayments
  • The first three pints of blood required for a hospital procedure
  • Part A hospice care coinsurance or copayments
  • Skilled nursing facility care coinsurance
  • Part A deductible
  • 80% of emergency care during foreign travel

Plan K is not offered by all carriers because it is not often requested. It covers:

  • 50% of Part B coinsurance or copayments
  • 50% of the first three pints of blood required for a hospital procedure
  • 50% of Part A hospice care coinsurance or copayments
  • 50% of Skilled nursing facility care coinsurance
  • 50% of Part A deductible
  • $5,880 annual out-of-pocket limit
